Adams mum Following Embarrassing Loss to Browns
After an off-season of big talk and bold predictions, it seems Jets safety Jamal Adams didn’t have much to say after his team’s embarrassing 21-17 loss to the Cleveland Browns. Several Jets beat writers noted that while Adams did an interview with SNY following the game, he headed for the exits and the local scribes were told he would not be returning.
Jamal Adams talked to SNY, then left the locker room without talking to reporters. #Jets PR said he won’t be coming back.

It’s a bad look for a “face of the franchise” type of player, and unfortunate because Adams has been playing very well thus far in his second season.
Jamal Adams, one of Jets’ defensive leaders, left locker room after game without speaking to beat writers. He spoke only to SNY. Every other Jets player stuck around and talked.

It’s entirely possible that something more pressing arose, but if that’s not the case, and if Adams wants to be taken seriously as a leader, he should expect to have to stick around and answer the tough questions when things don’t go well.
