Manish Mehta of the Daily New broke the story earlier today that could lead to Gang Green locking up one of their better play makers, albeit a guy who has battled injuries for much of the past two seasons as Enunwa missed all of 2017 along with a few games so far this season.
As frustrating as the injuries have been for Enunwa and the Jets, they could help keep the price tag at a manageable level for a short-term deal while Enunwa tries to show he can stay on the field moving forward.
Enunwa has been quarterback Sam Darnold’s favorite receiver in 2018, leading the team in targets (55) and receptions (29).
