K Jason Myers:

There have been five performances of 5+ made field goals in a game this season and Myers has two of them, becoming the first kicker in franchise history to hit at least five field goals in a game twice in the same season after going 7-for-7 against IND (10/14) and 5-for-5 at TEN (12/2).

CB Trumaine Johnson:

On the defense’s second possession, CB Trumaine Johnson recorded his second interception of the season, picking off a Marcus Mariota pass and returning it 31 yards for a touchdown to extend the Jets lead to 10-0. This marks the fourth pick-six of his career and the Jets third interception touchdown of the season, tied for the second-best mark in the league. Johnson added three tackles in the contest.

Special Teams Big Plays:

Kevin Pierre-Louis:

After deflecting a punt in Week Three against CLV (9/20), LB Kevin Pierre-Louis blocked a Titans second-quarter punt and recovered it, setting up a 43-yard field goal by Jason Myers to extend the Jets lead to 16-0. The blocked punt marked the first by the Jets since 2013 when S Antonio Allen blocked a punt against OAK (12/8/13).

Henry Anderson:

Late in the first half, DL Henry Anderson blocked a Tennessee extra point, first by Jets since 2009 when DE Bryan Thomas blocked an Adam Vinatieri PAT at IND (12/27/09).

Both Anderson’s and Pierre-Louis’ blocks today mark the first time the Jets have blocked two kicks of any kind in a game since 1988 at CIN (10/09/88).
