Injury Updates; Qvale to IR

Robby Anderson

The NY Jets announced a few more roster moves today as they have placed offensive lineman Brent Qvale on the injured reserve list. Albert McClellan was signed to take his roster spot, capping off a crazy few days. McClellan originally made the 53 man roster and then was waived with a few others a day later to make room for the waiver claims the Jets were awarded.

The team also formally announced that Josh Adams and Ian Bunting have been add to their practice squad.

Looking ahead to the home opener vs the Buffalo Bills, Adam Gase had an encouraging update for both Trumaine Johnson and Robby Anderson.

As far as just kind of going into this week, really, the two guys that you saw a little bit of the last time we practiced between Robby (Anderson) and Trumaine (Johnson), right now, everything is looking like we’re going to be heading in this week of practice (with) those guys out there, kind of seeing where we’re at. But, everything is trending in the right direction.
