Conklin Rumors go From Good to bad for Gang Green
As any Jets fan is well aware, Gang Green will be looking to invest heavily along the offensive line this off-season and one major target is expected to be Tennessee Titans free agent right tackle Jack Conklin.
Now a report from NFL insider Mike Florio claims that Conklin has already told one team of his intentions to come to New York to block for Sam Darnold and company.
At least one team has been told that Titans OT Jack Conklin plans to sign with the Jets in free agency https://t.co/3ZvW5rJoQ2

With the free agency tampering window still weeks away, it’s unlikely the Jets and/or Conklin would publicize any future plans. However, it wouldn’t be beyond the realm of possibility that Conklin’s agent is taking the opportunity to drive up his client’s asking price by having teams believe Conklin is already set on playing in a big market for a team with lots of salary cap space. Stay tuned, folks. Let the games begin.
***Update***
In a tweet addressing the rumor above, Adam Schefter says that Conklin to the Jets isn’t a sure thing.
Titans’ OT Jack Conklin will have many suitors in free agency, but he is not expected to land with the offensive-line-needy Jets, per sources. Jets like him, but the competition for him will be intense and there will be many suitors.

Conklin is in fact expecting to listen to many suitors.
