Mims is expected to be a primary target for quarterback Sam Darnold early and often in 2020. Mims will join Breshad Perriman to form Gang Green’s starting receiving tandem as Adam Gase looks to get the Jets offense rolling in 2020.
A big play receiver from Baylor, Mims’ combination of size, speed and body control make him a prime candidate to be a difference maker early on. The Jets are hoping a healthy Chris Herndon and Jamison Crowder will form an explosive quartet for Darnold to work with.
