La’Mical Perine, Denzel Mims; Jets Injury Updates
Yesterday we wrote about the NY Jets running back situation. Ian Rapoport tweeted out some good news earlier today about Perine’s injury. According to Rapoport, La’Mical Perine only suffered a low ankle sprain at the Green & White scrimmage. The timetable for his return is unknown at this point, but it isn’t expected to be a long term injury.
#Jets fourth-round RB La'Mical Perine, who has impressed in camp, suffered a low-ankle sprain at practice this weekend, the MRI confirmed. Not expected to be a long-term absence.
