Becton, Mims and Davis Expected to be Ready for Training Camp
Jets head coach Robert Saleh met with the media today and Jets fans will have been happy to hear that he expects the team to be a fully healthy when training camp kicks off in a couple of months. Perhaps most important was mentioning the fact that left tackle Mekhi Becton is expected to be a full go.
Robert Saleh says he's "very confident" in Mekhi Becton being okay by the time training camp. "We're not concerned about his availability for training camp".

Becton missed all or part of 8 games last season so some fans were overreacting to news of Becton battling a bout of plantar fasciitis in early June.
There have also been some concerns about the health of Cory Davis (shoulder) and Ashtyn Davis (foot) but it sounds as if there are no concerns on the part of the team in regards to each player on the roster being ready to go when the time comes.
Saleh also touched on the team’s need for a veteran backup quarterback, saying there were some internal discussions regarding former 49ers QB Nick Mullens but the team wanted to get a longer look at James Morgan and Mike White.
