NY Jets Injury Updates

Quinnen Williams

Day one of NY Jets training camp is in the books and day two is here.  You can read more about JetsCamp day one and day two in our forums. Robert Saleh met with the media yesterday and provided several injury updates.

PUP List

Ashtyn Davis, obviously he’s still on PUP. These are conservative numbers, but anticipating latest return date Week two of the (regular) season. Vinny Curry, NFI, same, no later than second week of the season. Kyle Phillips, anticipating him back for (Preseason Game Two at) Green Bay. Same with Quinnen Williams, anticipating him back for Green Bay.

Ashtyn Davis: Same injury as last year.

Vinny Curry:  He had a procedure done this offseason that is going to hold him up.

Quinnen Williams: Slower approach in terms of making sure that this doesn’t happen to the other foot and all that stuff. I’m still not concerned at all about Quinnen, he does look good out there. He started running, he’s in good shape. He’s going through all of it, he’s been here. We’re confident when he hits the field, he’ll hit the ground running.

George Fant (Covid List):We’re anticipating he should be back next week at some point. I think it’s 10 days, don’t hold me to that one. I do know that he will be back next week, and he should be back for that Green & White game.

Team Vaccination Numbers

We’re at 81 so that gives us 90% and we’re getting guys signing up every day, so we’re in really good shape.
