Plenty of Surprise Cuts for Jets as Pinnock and Parks Sent Packing
Every year we see a surprise cut or two at this time of year but there have been several for the Jets over the past 36 hours.
After letting go of DB Javelin Guidry and RB La’Mical Perine, it was the safeties today.
Despite an excellent pre-season, veteran safety Will Parks was waived along with second-year man Jason Pinnock who finished up last season on a high note.
Definitely a surprise here. Saleh raves about Pinnock.

In addition to Parks and Pinnock, defensive lineman Tanzel Smart despite a second consecutive standout pre-season.

The Jets of course could make a move to retain any of the above mentioned players after they clear waivers.
