There’s a Doctor in the House…Again; Jets re-sign Laurent Duvernay-Tardif

Joe Douglas

With very little experienced depth along the interior of their offensive line, the New York Jets have brought back a familiar face in guard Laurent Duvernay-Tardif.

Duverynay-Tardif, who has had to take time away from football to fulfill medical school obligations, spent time with the Jets last season after Gang Green picked him up in a deal with the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Jets are expected to put Duvernay-Tardif on their practice squad but given his level of experience and familiarity with the Jets system, he could be up and ready to go in short order.
