Mike White Departs for Miami as Jets QB Options Continue to Dwindle

Mike White

While the Jets sit and wait for Aaron Rodgers to acknowledge their existence, Mike White has Miami on his mind.

A candidate to return as the Jets backup QB in 2023, White has cashed in with a 2-year $16 million contract from the Miami Dolphins.  White as a starter wasn’t realistice for the upcoming season, but a return as an experienced backup was viewed as a possiblity.

Meanwhile, another potential Jets target, Jimmy Garoppolo, has come to terms on a new deal with the Las Vegas Raiders.

All of this while the Jets await word from Rodgers who said two months ago that he didn’t plan on dragging out his decision.  So much for that.
