Jets Address Offensive Tackle by Taking Pittsburgh’s Carter Warren
The cries for the New York Jets to add an offensive tackle have been answered as Gang Green selects Carter Warren, a left tackle out of the University of Pittsburgh with the 120th overall pick.
@nyjets new OT Carter Warren has excellent length and does a nice job in pass pro. Will need work as a run blocker but could eventually be a starting player. https://t.co/iVuMu6RFH3 pic.twitter.com/tvdY05tlXi

Warren is a New Jersey native with prototypical size at 6′ 5” 311 lbs with 35 3/8” arms. He has started 39 games for Pitt where he proved himself to be an above average pass blocker whose slide/footwork stand out but whose run blocking can use some work.
Carter Warren says he's "100%, I'm ready to go" and fully healed from his torn meniscus from last season.
Says he grew up a #Jets fan, living 20 minutes away from the facility.
Played at MetLife Stadium during high school.

When Warren lines up for the Jets at MetLife Stadium, it won’t be for the first time as he played at Metlife as a high school player.
