Today’s Jets News has a much different feel than the standings suggest. The Jets are 1-2, but Geno Smith has been one of the biggest early-season positives, completing 75.5 percent of his passes with four touchdowns and no interceptions through three games. Attention now turns to Chicago, where Breece Hall’s quad injury could leave Braelon Allen and Isaiah Davis handling the running game. Jason Sanders has officially won the kicking job, while concerns remain along the offensive line and with a pass rush that struggled to bother Jared Goff. Aaron Glenn is also facing the usual pressure that comes with close losses.

Three Jets Who Deserve Praise In Week 3 Loss Against The Lions – JetNation
Scott Mitchell hands out praise to Kenyon Sadiq, Dane Belton and Jason Sanders after the 31-24 loss in Detroit. Sadiq continued his fast start with seven catches for 105 yards and his first NFL touchdown, giving the Jets another explosive option at tight end. Belton has handled an expanded role in the secondary and continues to make plays while Minkah Fitzpatrick is sidelined. Sanders has also stabilized what looked like a major preseason concern, earning the full-time kicking job after going 5-for-6 on field goals through three games.
