Saints at Browns (-3)
The Saints will have a much better season than they did last year without a true home game.  I am not ready to take them on the road though. Browns 23 Saints 13

Eagles (-5.5) Texans
The Texans are headed in the right direction under Kubiak.  The Eagles are still more talented and they win a close one in Houston.  Eagles 24 Texans 21

Broncos (-4) Rams
The Rams will be better, but they are not ready to deal with Denver’s ground game.  Broncos 27 Rams 13

Panthers (-5) Falcons
Steve Smith’s injury changes everything about this game.  Falcons get an upset. 
Falcons 24 Panthers 23

Seahawks (-5.5) at Lions
The Lions have high expectations entering 2006.  I expect them to lose Sunday. 
Seattle 24 Detroit 10

Bengals at Chiefs (-1.5)
The Chiefs are just tough to deal with in their own building. TJ Whosyourmama was downgraded to questionable for Cincinnati.  Chiefs 30 Bengals 24

Bills at Patriots (-10)
It’s nice to get the year going at home against the Bills.  Patriots 30 Buffalo 7

Ravens at Buccaneers (-3)
The Bucs have more than enough defense to handle the Ravens attack even with McNair at QB.  Buccaneers 21 Ravens 10

Jets at Titans (-2.5)
I might not get to say this very much this year: The Jets are the better team. 
Jets 17 Titans 13

49ers at Cardinals (-7.5)
New stadium, new RB, actual fans in the seats in Arizona…that’s too much for the Niners to deal with.  Cardinals 31 49ers 20

Bears (-3.5) at Packers
Brett Favre said this was the most talented team he’s ever played on; then he said it was “undeveloped� talent.  The Bears will show how undeveloped it is.  Bears 27 Packers 10

Cowboys at Jaguars (-1.5)
The Cowboys are just better on both defense and offense.  Cowboys 24 Jaguars 14

Colts (-3) at Giants
The Manning Bowl highlights Sundays card.  It should be a good one. Giants 31 Colts 30

(Mon.) Vikings at Redskins (-4)
I don’t like either of these teams.  I’m going with the one whose first team offense actually scored during preseason to cover.  Redskins 17 Vikings 14

(Mon.) Chargers (-3) at Raiders
The Raiders are still bad.  Brooks will spend Monday night running for his life.
