Nick Ferraro Predictions

Jetnation Week Three Picks

Last Week:
8 –7 vs. spread
10 –5 straight up

Year to Date:
13 – 17 vs. spread
17 – 13 straight up

Week two was a big improvement over a pathetic week one, but we’re still not where we want to be. This week we even out the record against the spread, and we don’t look back from there.

Packers at Lions (-7)
The Lions have too much defense for the Packers. Detroit takes this battle of winless teams. Lions 27 Packers 10

Jets at Bills (-5.5)

The Bills defense has been impressive. Coles is hurting as is the Jet running game.
Bills 20 Jets 7

Bengals at Steelers (-1.5)

The Steelers were embarrassed on Monday night. That rarely happens, and the Bengals will see the best Pittsburgh has to offer as a result. Steelers 31 Bengals 20

Jaguars at Colts (-7)

The Jags were very impressive Monday night. It will be hard to duplicate that effort off a short week on the road. Colts 27 Jaguars 17

Titans at Dolphins (-10.5)

Miami is in a must-win situation after last week’s disappointing home loss to Buffalo.
Dolphins 33 Titans 10

Redskins (-4) at Texans
The Redskins get Portis back at full strength, but they will still struggle.
Redskins 17 Texans 14

Bears (-3.5) at Vikings
The Vikings have pulled two magical wins out the hat to start the season. The Bears have needed little magic to start 2-0. Bears 27 Vikings 14

Panthers (-3) at Buccaneers
The Panthers have more going right than the Bucs. They win the Desperation Bowl.
Panthers 21 Buccaneers 7

Ravens (-6.5) at Browns
The Browns will hang right with the overrated Ravens. Browns 17 Ravens 14

Rams at Cardinals (-4.5)
The Rams did little last week to follow up on an impressive week one win. Their offense is struggling. Cardinals 30 Rams 17

Giants at Seahawks (-3.5)

The Seahawks will notch a hard-fought win at home. Seahawks 23 Giants 20

Eagles (-6) at 49ers
The Eagles will look back at last week’s loss all season long. They handle the upstart Niners easily. Eagles 33 49ers 16

Broncos at Patriots (-6.5)

Neither team has played up to expectations thus far. Denver’s offense has shown very little to like. Patriots 24 Broncos 14

(Mon) Falcons (-3.5) at Saints
There will be a lot of emotion in the Superdome Monday night, but the Falcons are a much better team. Falcons 28 Saints 14
