Bowles Optimistic Of A Revis Return
Wednesday’s practice was an encouraging site for the New York Jets as their top cornerback, Darrelle Revis, was back outside with the team for the first time in two weeks. Revis was running off to the side during practice, a very encouraging sign, considering that the shutdown corner was not even cleared to sit through team meetings before he returned to practice on Wednesday. Todd Bowles stated that he is “hopeful” that Revis can do more on Thursday’s practice, setting up for a return against the Titans. Even though Revis was listed as not practicing, running was all that he was allowed to do because he is still in the concussion protocol.
CB Darrelle Revis DNP today, still has to pass 2 more tests.
Bowles: "I'm hopeful he can do more tomorrow than he did today."

Marcus Williams (knee), Revis’ replacement for the win against the Dolphins, was seen with his helmet on and stretching with the team during warmups but did not practice. Williams will also needs to show improvements before Sunday’s matchup with the Titans because no Jet player has been active for a game yet this year without practicing at all during the week.
CB Marcus Williams (knee) has his helmet during pre-practice stretch.
No sign of CB Darrelle Revis (concussion).
