NFL insider Adam Schefter is reporting that the team is set to cut ties with the former Ohio State Buckeye who was hoping to start training camp on the right foot in just a couple of weeks.
Injuries limited Smith to only 14 games in three seasons, finishing with 10 receptins for just 135 yards and one career touchdown.
