Report: Jets Contact Matt Rhule About Coaching Vacancy

Jason La Canfora is reporting that in their search for a new head coach, the Jets have contacted Matt Rhule of Baylor University.

The Jets have in fact already discussed their head coaching vacancy with Baylor's Matt Rhule. A native New Yorker with an impressive resume, including NFL coaching experience.

All of the Jets other interviews have been well publicized up until now, but the possibility of squeezing in a meeting with Rhule was something that was mentioned by JetNation earlier in the day.

Wouldn't be shocked if the Jets worked out a meeting with Matt Rhule while they were in Texas. @MMehtaNYDN mentioned Jets would only be a short drive from him while interviewing Richard. Local guy, built programs, worked both sides of the ball, players love him.
