Eagles Could be Without two Star Defensive Players on Sunday
The Jets chances of a Sunday upset may have just improved a fair bit as the Eagles could be without two star defensive players according to a report. According to Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia inquirer, cornerback Darius Slay and stud rookie defensive tackle Jalen Carter did not practice today. This leaves their status for Sunday in doubt.
Even if the pair were to sit out, the Jets are still at a talent disadvantage as the Eagles boast the NFL’s best offensive and defensive fronts to go along with an immensely talented group of wide receivers with quarterback Jalen Hurts under center. But without Slay and Carter, perhaps some more opportunities will open up for the likes of Garrett Wilson and Breece Hall.
