I am a native LIer and have made that drive to Jersey more times than I would care to remember.
That being said the Jets need to go where they are wanted. Woody gave it a $65 million dollar try with the West Side, he failed. S–t happens.
They still need a stadium – yes it sucks for all the LIers but you know what? Queens would have been just as much red-tape as West Side. There would have been protests and hold ups and all sorts of problems. The way the state of NY and the city have treated the Jets has been dispicable. The team needs to go where they are wanted.
