It got the Pats so mad they ripped up all their grass to replace it – by guys working 24 hours a day.
Mangini got that monkey off his back early on in his career and it could have gotten ugly in the division.
Of course Barlow wasn’t hitting the hole hard most days but that 1 day in New England was more valuable than all the Alan Harper’s in the draft world.
