Aaron Rodgers says he’s Prepared to be a Jet, Packers Holding up Deal With Compensation Demands
Appearing on the Pat McAfee show moments ago, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers said that after much deliberation, he is prepared to become a member of the New York Jets.
Rodgers says he intends to play for the @nyjets and Packers compensation is what's holding the deal up.

Unfortunately for the Jets, the deal is being held up by the Green Bay Packers who are trying to get more compensation from the Joe Douglas and company in return for the future Hall of Famer.
A deal for Rodgers had reportedly been done some time ago according to Trey Wingo, but it seems the destination had been determined, but what the Jets would be sending to Green Bay has not.
While the Jets have very little leverage in that there are no better options on the market, but what’s hurting Green Bay is their public stance in wanting Rodgers gone, knowing Rodgers may only have one more season left in his right arm and that no other teams are bidding against the Jets.
So the saga carries for now, but Rodgers’ statement offers some clarity on his future.
