Dalvin Cook Says Chances of Being a Jet are “pretty high” but Miami Would be “Cinderella Story”
Free agent running back Dalvin Cook, who is set to meet with the Jets this weekend is doing some press ahead of the sit down with Gang Green and looks to be shooting up a flare to the Miami Dolphins.
Asked about his chances of becoming a Jet by the folks over at Good Morning Football on NFL Network, Cook said “I think they’re pretty high, man.”. However, when asked about the possibility of playing for another team that has been bidding on his services, the Jets division rival and his home town Miami Dolphins, Cook said it would be a “Cinderella story” to play in his back yard.
Cook also was asked on @gmfb about the possibility of playing for the #Dolphins, and he said he's "still weighing my options. This thing is not over. Playing in my hometown would mean so much for me … Just a Cinderella story."
Smart. He's playing all the angles. #Jets

Cook reminded viewers that his decision is not yet made and he is still “weighing my options”. This, just weeks after saying publicly that the Dolphins would be a “perfect fit”.
Even more now than before. As I just said to @DTereman, how often does a player do an interview to discuss an upcoming visit?
Cook tells NFL network he feels like he'll be a Jet. Feels like he's shooting up a flare to Miami to let them know how close they are to losing him. https://t.co/IewzPMPHzk

If the Dolphins don’t up their offer and the Jets meet Cook’s demands, there’s a good chance he lands at 1 Jets Drive and forms one of the NFL’s top running back tandems as by joining Breece Hall.
