Edds Tries To Kick Start Career With Jets

If you were paying attention to the Jets first pre-season game against Indianapolis last week, you may have noticed the stellar effort put forth by little known LB AJ Edds. Edds led the defense with 7 tackles to go along with a late fumble recovery in a game that he's surely hoping left an impression [...]

Defending The Jets Could Be A Tall Order

Looking out at the Jets' group of offensive players today, the one thing that stood out to me, literally...was the height of the wide receivers and tight ends.  No matter how well or how poorly he plays, QB Geno Smith is going to have some substantial targets to throw the ball to. Let's start with [...]

Jets Camp Report; Wide Receivers Stand Out

I was at Jets Camp again today and clearly the day was dominated by the two major injuries suffered by top of the depth chart CB's Dee Milliner, and Dexter McDougle. McDougle left practice early when he went down in 1-on-1 end zone drills, and Milliner followed when he fell to the ground after battling [...]

Milliner Injures Ankle

In addition to losing Dexter McDougle, the Jets have yet another cornerback related concern. Dee Milliner injured his ankle during practice on Sunday. https://twitter.com/JetNation/status/498493051288166400 Rex Ryan described what happened on the play. " I saw the play. Dexter McDougle Tears ACL

The Jets received bad news today as Dexter McDougle tore his ACL during practice. Rex Ryan explained when the injury happened, "it was during one-on-one’s in the red zone and apparently he just came down and a cleat got caught. That is what I understood."  The NY Jets confirmed the severity of the injury. https://twitter.com/nyjets/status/498539268265218048 [...]

Training Camp Notes From Cortland

Here's a recap of a few observations from Jets camp at Cortland. This was my first visit to Cortland and I made the mistake of standing too close to the action, which meant plenty of obstructed views of the field due to Jets employees/media/players sometimes creating a barrier between me and the action.  However, here [...]

Davis Delivers Important Message To Milliner

New York Jets fans still hung over from the Mark Sanchez era and the nickname "Sanchize" may roll their eyes when hear Dee Milliner's new nickname.  Milliner, who is likely to be the most scrutinized player on the Jets roster this year not named Geno Smith, has apparently decided to embrace the moniker given to  him [...]
